Sitabari Fair

Sitabari Fair is held 45 km from Baran at Kelwara, on NH 27. The temples & tanks at Kelwara are known as Sitabari. According to the folklore Sita had to spend her exile here in the ASHRAM of the Saint VALMIKI. A tribal fare takes place here at Kelwara in the month of May on ‘Amavasya’. It is a very colorful fare of the local Saharia Tribals.
